Anyone who might need a new aluminum finned draft control knob there is a new old stock one i just saw on ebay. Search fisher wood stove. Im sure finding one is hard to do.

Yeah, I saw it. It will be interesting to see how much it goes for.
You can still get them new from Barr Castings. (probably cheaper than auction) They have the original 4 fin molds. You can specify material you want them made with (aluminum, brass or bronze) cast with center nut or without. ALWAYS use the type with steel insert nut.

$62.49 with shipping is insane;

56.54 eBay 11-2015.jpg

This one is $49.00 with shipping with Buy it Now; On eBay at the same time !!

49. Buy it Now 11-2015.jpg This one has the Canadian Patent on back as well........ Guess they don't read the Forum and know it's simple to wipe the edges with thinner or Scotch Brite for the original finish.

These prices are more than solid bronze at Barr..........
