I actually got a kick out of this CL ad tonight. It really got me laughing. Hope it wasn't posted by any of you. I should contact the guy and team up with him, but I don't want to break his back.

And it gets better. These guys must be drinking from the same punch bowl.

Yeah, I am going to climb up oak trees, top them off, and risk damage to his house just so I can have the privilege of bucking, splitting, hauling, and stacking this stuff to be used as firewood.

Don't forget, you need insurance too. Hey, Dennis says wood is like money in the bank; You'll be rich in no time! ==c

Only need insurance if you are worried about losing everything you own. If you own nothing, go to it. Cut the tree and drop it on the guy's house. Then declare bankruptcy and list the claim. Hopefully, the homeowner has some good homeowner's insurance.

I am still chuckling over both of those ads as I think some more about them.

I've always wanted to go out to one of those deals and drop the tree right on the house... oh... whoops!... and tear out of there. See YA!

Maybe these two - first CL post and second CL post "responder" can get together and the 2nd can drop trees, buck them up small so 1st can haul them away???

I think I will post an add requesting something like the first post only please deliver it - I am willing to split and stack the wood after you drop it off near my piles.

All I can say is ;lol !

OK, I'm goin' for it! ;lol
Hey, wait a minute. I've got thousands of dollars worth of wood stacked; No way I'm gonna put that at risk. ==c

Sounds like a wood scrounger with a plan.

Some here get it delivered to their property free.

I would have went ahead and ask for delivery and stack it. But, of course the stacking does not happen often. ;)
