Another use for bacon!

I recently found that maple syrup makes an excellent assembly adhesive on a woodstove. I had to hold a washer in place during assembly and didn't want to use the usual grease or weatherstrip adhesive that would result in nasty fumes when fired. Then, thinking of loading the dishwasher I remembered that nothing is stickier than slightly dry maple syrup. Works great, you can lick your fingers for cleanup, and hardly smells when fired. Tip of the day!

Interesting but why wasn't the combustion chamber cleaned before the 10W-30 run?
