Hi guys - I've been wanting a grinder for a while - I hand sharpen, and can sharpen well, but after about 10 sharpenings, I think I could stand with truing the angle again. The Oregon sharpeners seem real nice, but pricey. I was looking at this http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200327449_200327449.

Seems to get pretty good reviews. I'm not adverse to saving for the Oregon if it is far superior - particularly since I'm thinking of offering a chain sharpening service. Any thought appreciated!

Cheers!

I've got this one . . . I stink at hand sharpening. This has helped quite a bit . . . it's not fool proof, but pretty darn close.

Looks exactly the same as my Timber Tuff, except mine is green.

I really like mine. Its pretty accurate and fast. The vise could be a slight bit better and the angle scales are not super precise but for the price its great. Accurate enough for chainsaw chain.
