I have had an Appalachian stove for about 30 years. I replaced the fan motor but there is an awful noise like it is hitting something. I think the fan impeller may be fatigued from the great and wear and tear. If anyone has any ideas or has the complete fan unit you want to sell please let me know. Thank you.
 
It could be that accumulated dust and dirt has caused the blades to be imbalanced. If that is the case a good cleaning may help.
