We visited a showroom today and my wife thought that the Harman Allure50 when turned to a very low fan speed was quiet enough to go in our dining room. However, non-touch-screen model Harman was too loud. Coming back home, I found that Harman makes two different inserts with the touch screen control system. Are the Accentra52i-TC and/or the P42i-TC as quiet as the Allure50 or are they noisier like the P43 we heard in the showroom?

Thanks!

I only have the P43, but keep in mind there there are two blowers. One for combustion (always on)and the room blower. It is possible (within limits) to run it without the room blower. For an insert though I'm not sure how much heat you would get without a room blower.
