Hello to all,
been a while since I've posted here. I have a peculiar problem with my RSF Opel 2 and was hoping someone could help with a solution.
Whenever I open the door to insert more wood, ashes fall on the hearth and when I turn the fan back on, they are sucked in and distributed through the room and upstairs where I have installed a heat dump with a fan.
This seems to be an oversight from the part of RSF. The louvre us too low and ashes accumulate in the bottom part of the unit, where all the electrical stuff is located. Can't just sweep it out, there is a lip and the inky way to clean it up so it doesn't get sucked into the air flow, is to wait until the unit cools down and vacuum it. Thus can be potentially dangerous so it's not something I do unless I'm sure there are no embers in the pile.
Anyone else ran into this problem? Any ideas/advice appreciated.
Thanks
