So I recently purchased a Ashford 30.2 and declined the blower option at almost $500, but seems several post I have read believe the blower is important in the operation of the Ashford because of the outer cast iron shell, , what everyones opinion, also anyone had any luck with aftermarket blowers Thanks

Try it without blowers. I expect you’ll get by just fine. My princess has blowers that almost never get used.
