Do it. You will love it.

It keeps the house at a nice even temperature and takes a lot of the hassle out of managing the stove. Our thermostat on the PDV is set at 69 and the Oil is set at 65. The oil never comes on. You don't need to worry about fiddling with the heat levels, and it will likely make your pellets last longer.

It's relatively easy to set up. I won't run the stove any other way.

Only con I can see is that you typically need to keep the fan on High (or as high as your heat range). It doesn't slow down when the thermostat isn't calling for heat. If your stove is in a location close to the TV or other conversation areas, it may get bothersome. Ours is in the dining room, and we don't even notice the noise until it shuts off and the house goes silent :)
