Went to pick woodticks and managed to get some blueberries. Not going to be a great year here for berries as hardly any moisture at all.the ticks are plentiful though.

It will be a week or two before our wild berries will be ripe
We will have a good season this year, lots of rain, and plants are
laden with green berries this year .

I did our first picking of Early Blues a few days ago. Got a nice quart +. There are tons more coming. We have 5 varieties for an extended season. No ticks to worry about, they have a dedicated, weed-free bed.

Well the berries are getting better, found a patch in a shady area that we're a nice size,I've got around 10 medium sized freezer bags now,5 more and I'm good till next year, the ticks are still out in full force.

I picked a couple of pounds yesterday but too hot today to pick. We're at 94º and climbing. It will be cooler by Friday and I'll pick some more. The berries have been primo this year. I've been able to let them get to maximum ripeness for great flavor and sweetness.

Order some Permethrin. Mix up some 0.5%. I've done two sprays so far of 0.35% on my camper, garage and house.
