I plan to get some unseasoned delivered in the spring and let it sit for a year and see how dry it gets.
Not dry enough, unless it's soft Maple, Tulip Poplar or some other lightweight wood.

I'll let you know. I only have room for three cords so I have to be judicious with my space. As soon as I have space for the cord of unseasoned, I will buy it and see what happens.

Funny just picked up a bunch on my property yesterday. They dry fast and I only use one with a piece of Fatwood to get my cold start going.

They are great fire starters. I do the same pine cone and fatwood!
