I know you folks in cold weather use the stoves hard. wife wants new stove but I dont... but to make her happy I gather my evidence.
Dirty Dave...."the next troublesome stove".I know you folks in cold weather use the stoves hard. wife wants new stove but I dont... but to make her happy I gather my evidence.
The Quad and Harman seem to have the most problems because they are a top selling brand.
Sell 10 million units and there will be problems and you will HEAR these problems.
Sell 20 units and most get forgotten or scrapped?
No one ever makes a post about "This stove is so flipping awesome" It's always "This stove won't work and I am cold"!! (normally operator error)
Buy a Quad, Harman, Enviro, Etc and your Wife will be very Happy.
DOLLARBILL if you were closer I would give you a few bills for that junky ol Bixby and my Bixby "is so flippin awesome"I Love my XXV here at the House and at the shop we use two P68s that have been trouble free for 5 years I also have a Bixby it burns both corn and pellets corn better than pellets and is a pain in the a$$ the Bixby is going to the dump !
If you discount the fact that 90% + of the Englander pellet stove problems posted here seem to be control board user related , it might rank right up there with the best.
DexterDay is right. I just did a search for "This stove is so flippin awesome" and came up with no results.
BTW did i ever tell you how flippin awesome my P61A is
Yes, a lot of user related issues, but it also seems that many of the Englanders are bought used and had problems that the original owner didn't know how or want to bother fixing. They buy them thinking you just turn them on and that's it....
"what, I have to clean this thing? The salesman at the big box store never mentioned that!"
