We would like to take the back plate off a Better n' Ben's insert stove. We have closed off the fireplace and installed a 6" flue pipe into the chimney. Do the screws go from the plate into the fire box? Are there nuts welded? Or does it screw into the wood stove itself? Also, we want to make it free standing. Can we purchase extra legs for that purpose? Anyone who has information, we would be very appreciative! Thank you!
