Bis Ultima / Lennox Brentwood Door Problem

Hi, i just bought a house with a BIS ultima stove, and the door does not latch properly. When you try to get it to close securely, it hits a stop then spins past it, and I have to lift/manhandle the door to get it back on track.

Anyone have this issue before? I can get it to latch but I rent this house and am trying to idiot proof it!
