Ok the princess is hooked up and works amazing. I did a break in fire tonight and all I can say is wow. I started a small fire then once that was going I put two small skinny splits got them going good engaged the cat when thermometer went to active then threw on 1 average size 16 inch maple split and gradually turned down the t stat to the dot above low and had fan on low. I did that at 8:30 pm and it just came out of the active mark on the thermometer it's now 11:45 and the stove is still giving off heat. I am amazed how much heat you can get out of one average sized split and two real small kindling like splits. I can't wait til it's cold here and I can load this thing up and see what its got. It's 45* outside 73* inside and I got the back door open. I read in the manual to put furnace cement on stack. How many people have done this? I left the top shroud off to check for leaks and I don't see any.

Welcome to the club, do you have an insert? Im going to take a look at my liner and check to see if its tight, I may put some cement on if needed. I suppose it wouldnt hurt.
