Will this fit my 1999 4300?

Thanks

There is a part number in the label picture it is hard to make out, but I think it is ??1-1701 - I would try checking with a Quad dealer to see if that number matches your stove's part listing. They also show some applications in that sheet which might give a hint. Lastly, it is a nice looking unit, you might be able to do some adapting to MAKE it fit if the price were right.

I can tell by the rheostat that is the blower kit from the "ACT" line of stoves. I'm not sure when they started making these. Do you know the exact model or part number of your stove? Basically if there are 2 or 3 screw holes in the back it will fit. Even the new "ACC" blower kits would fit on the older models, they are just not listed and tested with them. I can check tomorrow when I have access to the older manuals online if the 1999 version of the 4300 was an ACT if you are not sure. Also, is it step top or flat top?

Oh and I'm pretty sure that part number on that page is 831-1701

Hmmm... found a 4300 ACT manual online

Shows that part "831-1701" as the blower kit for it.

Here is an even older one, last revised in 1999

Thats one shows "831-1700", I bet its the same thing, the 1701 prob has some minor changes to it. If you have the older stove I could call Quad and find out for you.

Thanks guys. My stove is a step top and the manual calls for blower kit # 831-1700. I will call the dealer and see if the 1701 will work.

Thanks

According to these guys they are the same blower.

I'm betting they either added a screw hole, or changed vendors for the rheostat or something. I cannot guarantee it, but my best guess would be they are the same. If you really need to know, call quad's 1-800 number and they will be able to look it up.
