I have a 42 Apex installed in 2018. Blower has always functioned perfectly. Yesterday, on the coldest day of the year, the blower decided it will only blow at the lowest possible speed (barely any output). No matter where the slide switch is positioned the speed will not increase. Had the stove cranked for the entire day yesterday and again today with no change in the blower speed. The only good news is the temp outside is going to get above zero tonight. Any suggestions/ideas are appreciated - Thanks!

The most likely culprit is the blower speed control. It should be replaced. This probably could be jumpered out temporarily, but it should not be done without first turning off the power to the fireplace and then only with good knowledge of safe electrical practices.

And probably a cold stove.

Direct wiring the blower should have it running on max speed.
