I have a Brass flame FS 1005 MH in my cabin. The stack goes straight up through the roof. My Brother-in-law has been burning pine in it and the baffle blanket has taken a beating. Is this something I can buy on Ebay and cut to fit? I appreciate your help!

Yes, a replacement blanket can be ordered over eBay or from Amazon. Be sure it is a ceramic wool blanket of the correct thickness. Wear a dust mask when cutting and fitting.

That's great. Thank You! The stove is at my cabin about 60 miles from here. Can anyone tell me the approximate size of the blanket I need? I can cut it when I get there, but I can't seem to find the size I need on the internet. My brother-in-law is going to get a surprise to find the wood stack is a lot smaller. I'm getting rid of all the pine! He wasted a lot of money on garbage!

No I can't. Nor can I say what thickness was used.

Note that pine is fine to burn as long as it is burned properly. Out west this is all a lot of people burn. It needs to be fully seasoned and not smoldered.
