Buck 27000 advice

Going to look at a 27000 today with intent to purchase. It's a triple wall. Any tips on what to look out for/red flags etc. Thanks in advance

Cracks, discoloration on the outside (over fire), how much rust. Stick your head in the firebox and use a flashlight. And take your time.

There does seem to be plenty of rust

Inside an old stove you can find rust. If it is surface rust, easy to remove, it might be okay. But I would be careful. How much are they asking? How old is the stove? Where are you planning to install it?

No idea about age. Planning to install with a liner in an old fireplace. BTW just noticed your sig - I became a US citizen in 2017 too!

Is there an ID tag on the back? A date of manufacturing might be on there.

That is absolutely the most it should be worth.

I ended up buying it. Needs some work on the fan so I knocked the price down. Thanks for your help everyone.
