Hello,

I’m in the process of upgrading/replacing my stove. I installed a jotul F3CB 11 years ago at my place in the UP. I’ve wanted upgrade ( bigger firebox) for awhile now. I’ve purchased a PE super 27 and assumed it would be a direct swap out regarding the piping ( wrong)

Using 6” duravent with telescoping section. The issue is collar that fit into F3CB won’t fit into super 27. I’ve read that I need to purchase adapter. When I view adapter online it seems it’s not going to couple up with duravent. Did I install telescoping section backwards 11 years ago??

Here are a couple pictures . Thanks in advance if anyone can offer advice.

Joe

If this is Duravent DVL, no adapter is needed. the inner crimped liner should insert inside the flue collar and the outer skin of the double-wall should fit outside the collar rim.
