I have found what seems to be a great deal on a used vermont castings stove. I am going to inspect it tomorrow. Is there anything I should check out specifically?
It is from a guy who is remodelling his house.

It seems to me that these stoves are pretty bullet proof but I am really not 100% sure so I need advice.

Thanks

Model?
Age?
Need more info.

I would seriously look into the age of the unit, and whether or not it is an EPA Phase II cert stove. Your wood consumption will thank you.

On top of that, there is a huge amount of used stoves on the market so make sure to not over pay for one unless it is in like-new condition.
