Question:

Can I save by Buying Wood Pellets in Bulk ?

Answer:

You probably can buy Pellets in bulk (20 tons is a tractor trailer load). If you buy this many- it will cost $110 to $135 per ton delivered (depending on where the closest pellet mill is). The other thing is that I would not store Pellets for over 2 years- as the moisture content- etc. may change. All in all- unless you have two or three buddies to share a load with- you are probably better off buying a ton or two at a time.
