[Hearth.com] Catalyst damage
What is causing this damage? 4 years old. I noticed a little gap last year but this is bad. Ordered a new one but I don’t want it to happen again.

There have been more reports. Seems to be a manufacturing issue for a certain set of cats.

Note that if you bought the stove new, you have a first cat replacement under warranty for free.
