Congrats on the new saw . clean with a 2" angle paintbrush every time you replace the chain and flip the bar or use the air compresser if you have one available . You can use the brush to clean the air filter if you use the air don't get too close they can be damaged easily. fill the bar oil every time you fill the gas and you will never run it out of oil. Use gas with the proper octane and add stabil to prevent fuel breakdown. Use protective gear and put it on before you start the saw!
 
Don't use compressed air around the sprocket nose of the bar or you will push dirt into the bearing. I use a small screwdriver to clean out the groove in the bar, starting at the nose, not toward it.

Don't use compressed air around the clutch either for the same reason. The only place I use air is around the fan and fins.
