That drum shear is a new one to me. Hollywood could have a field day making a movie with that machine.

You've got to look pretty close to see how that thing works. It is made of an old axle so the first thing that the guy does is set the cone end of the splitter as a sort of slip clutch device since if he hadn't done that then the shear end of the device wouldn't work. If the shear end get's stuck then the cone end will just split that clutch piece. Feaking cool. The problem is that you can only use pecker poles.
 
How did the guy get Rube Goldberg to buiild a splitter for him??
 
If he could make the pieces a little smaller, he could sell the pellets.
