So after a wind storm splitting some cherry and about 9' looked like this .... i split a lot of cherry sun baked splits yes i have seen this whole trees split and onpy a section no

take a picture of the bark.. that doesn't look like cherry.. is this supposed to be wild balck cherry. Even super pinky it's a deep red color.. thats not red at all..
Thats my point i have seen cheery splits get sun bleached but havent seen it like this fresh split all three splits came off the same lead

It all looks like cherry to me. Exposure to air will change heartwood color from pink to orangeish to an eventual charcoal gray. Some parts of the tree may have been dead before dropping; therefore, some colors resulting from early exposure or decay may show.
 
It does look like cherry to me, altered by the elements.
