Is the clearance from chimney to combustibles different between double-wall and triple-wall or is it the same?
Thanks,
John

The clearance depends on the pipe manufacturer's tested specifications. Typically for class A chimney both require 2" clearance. Triple wall is usually the bargain brand version of the mfg. chimney.

Ok, then I'll just plan on minimum of 2" to be safe.
Can you use an elbow straight out of the top of the stove if it is connected to a sloped pipe? Manufacturer"recommends" a foot of straight pipe before an angle. I would think that an elbow on top would still be better than a straight pipe out the back. Thoughts?

Yes if slope is immediately upward from the stove then putting a 45º elbow on the stove can work as long as there are not too many turns afterward and the chimney is of sufficient height to draft properly. How will the entire flue system be setup?

Stove to elbow to slope pipe that goes about 1-1.5 ft at 35-40 degree slope to horizontal pipe into the tee then straight up.

That should work if the chimney is tall enough. In Colorado this is critical due to altitude. How much height after the tee? What altitude and what stove will this be for?

5,900ft. About 18ft. after the tee.
Manufacturer says chimney must terminate no less than 15ft above the stove. All total, it should terminate at about 20ft.

That may work. The 90º turn in the tee will be the greatest slowdown. What stove will this be for?

Firestop radiation shield is what DuraVent and Selkirk call it. Excel calls it the ERS.
