Hi folks,
I'm looking for some ideas on a cleaning tool or wire brush of some kind to get a good clean of the exhaust path on my pdvc. I do use a sh vac and do the leaf blower thing regular but I would like to get in the lower left opening of the pathway with some type of brush but it has a very small opening.any ideas where I can find a thin but flexible brush for in there? I've been to hd lowes ace and a local welding supply house with no luck, any help would be great.

Someone mentioned they used a bottle brush on their stove but can't remember what make of stove; I use a dryer lint brush. I got the micro-tool kit for the shop vac and some tubing to get in the recessed places too.

I bought one of these and bent the medium attachment length nozzle at a 45 angle.

To clean the path, I start the stove and immediately put it into shut down mode. This will keep the exhaust blower running for a few minutes. I'll also take my shop vac and turn it on with the hose in the main door opening. Then I stick the nozzle into the little hole behind the baffle plate and give it a bunch of air blasts, moving the nozzle all around. With the exhaust blower on and my shop vac running, very little if any soot makes it out the door. This lets me get both to both sides of the opening and I get out far more soot that with any other method that I've tried.

Good luck!
