I have a new stove and ICC Ultra Black pipe that needs to be cleaned prior to the first fire in order to get the finger prints and residue off. Is there a preferred cleaner for this that won’t hurt the pipe’s finish?

Thanks

Are they just dusty prints or oily ones? If dusty, use a damp, soft rag. If oily, try a little alcohol on a rag and don't rub hard. Don't use a strong solvent like acetone.
