Question:

I constructed a stone and cement base for my wood stove and am having a problem removing the "whiteness" from the rocks embedded in the cement. Is there any product out there that will help me with this problem?.

Answer:

A lite solution of muriatic acid is what masons use for this. Be sure to handle the acid carefully and according to instructions.
Also, using a stone sealer on the rock will often hide the slight whiteness.
