I did a lot of resplitting and checking MC on this year's stack today. Was happy to see that even my two summer Oak is 19 - 22%. All of the Pine, Maple and Cherry I have is in the mid teens and all of the higher btu stuff like Beech and Mulberry is good to go. This will be my 3rd season and even though last year was pretty good I'm looking really forward to a season without worrying about wet wood.

What are you other tweeners (no longer rookies but not yet veterans) seeing?

Got some nice 3year oak hovering around 15% (big splits to) cherry and ash more flammable than gasoline and about 7 cords of maple marinating for 2 years now

I'm on my second year. I've got a cord of maple ready, about a cord of oak that's ready, 2/3 of a cord of sweet gum ( never again) that's ready and a third of a cord of locust that's borderline. I'm going to pick up a half pallet or pallet of fuel blocks just in case.

I've been working hard to get ahead and I've got almost 2 cords of locust, 2 cord of maple, a cord of cherry, cord of oak that are split and stacked for next year and beyond. Another cord or so and I can relax a little. Just a little though.

I haven't done any resplitting, but got 7+ cord that's been stacked and top covered for 2+ years. Mix of cherry, ash, black walnut, plus a small amount of hickory, mulberry and oak that should be ready for the real cold nights. Got some white pine c/s/s for well over a year for shoulder season. This is the most ready I've been in 5-6 years I've been burning now and I'm getting excited! Soon I'll get up on the roof to clean the stack then the stove, put the patio furniture in the garage attic and break out the racks for the deck to fill :)
