Hi Everyone, does anyone have experience cooking on this stove? There is a raised ridge on top, and I'm not sure if that will interfere with cooking. Does a pot have to be in full contact (the middle of the stove), or can I set things on the ridge and edge of stove to cook slower?

I didn’t do a lot of cooking on mine but you can set pots and pans on the edges, middle or sides to regulate heat. The middle top was always the hottest part of the stove in my experience. Trivets work good to if you just want to keep things warm.
