I feel after 4 years with a wood Stove the best type of Poker is one that has a 90* Bend at the End of Poker! Not 3” up from end. These can’t Rake coals from corners or back of Stove .

We got exactly that kind of poker with our VC Resolute in 1980. I've kept it through each stove and still use it, 45 yrs. later.

I have a poker somewhere, might be in the garage, but never use it.

I use the shovel, that came in the set. I feel it can do all the poker can, and a bit more.

It is 5x3,5"
