Curing insert before install.

Good morning.
I just bought a Travis large flush insert, and I am waiting on my insulated liner. I was worried about the paint burning off inside after install, so I fired it up outside. Had to use a fan and a makeshift to get it burning good.
Hopefully this prep will minimize the fumes in the house.

Can’t hurt. Each time you reach a new high temp it will off gas more.

If the insert got over 500º, most of the paint has been baked in. That fire doesn't look large enough to have done this.
