Got some logs in my log siding that needs to be fixed. I saw on a 'this old home' show a 2 part epoxy that is mixed and with a lexan spatula (so it doesn't stick) applied to cleaned out section that was destroyed by wood rot. A base primer was applied to help with the adhesion. Does anybody know exactly what this is called and any tips?

They mixed it on a piece of lexan and used a lexan spatula but never really mentioned a brand or so.. I'd like to patch up some small parts of some siding...

Try www.abatron.com, they advertise in Fine Homebuilding although I have never used it.
