Dear Craig Please could you tell me about Defiance Wood burning inserts? I have never heard of them. I have been shopping for an insert and so far I like the look of Regency inserts. Do the inserts by Defiance look and operate as well as those by Regency. Thanks

To my knowledge, Defiance was a Michigan company that has not made any inserts for at least 10 years. If you know otherwise, please inform me.
They were good units, and very heavy-duty, but not up to the standards (clean-burning) of today.
