Can someone interpret what the dip switch settings mean. I have downloaded the Hearth and Home Technologies printout displaying the various models and the settings for their appropriate switches.I have a P38+ that we just changed the board on to,- 3-20-06142E. The instructions say that the board has been factory set. So we had to check for the black/red ESP probe settings to verify and yes the factory had #5 set to OFF, as we have a black probe. .However when we compared #8, the switch from factory said ON but the diagram says OFF.
#8 in the Note says this switch controls MAX ESP temperature for specific models. What does MAX ESP temperature mean?

They don't want the stoves exhaust temp to get to high and compromise the venting
