A while back someone asked the question: "Does anyone make a DIY geothermal system.

These guys do. They also make one that will hook up to your present radiant floor.

Your thoughts?

Not a great idea IMO......Geo like anything else can get screwed up pretty easily.....my main Geo Guy makes a great living in addition to installing new Closed looped systems Repairing , Modifying, and Controling systems that have been put in by Plumbers and other uneducated trades people....
 
I don't know as I would recommend it.
A ego system contains too many variables of the "what you don't know WILL come back to haunt you" type.
A mistake or miscalculation can get very expensive.
