So, the cats caught a few mice today. VERY proud of themselves. After making sure they were good and dead, I chucked them in the fire. Interesting (a bit ghoulish, I admit), but I watched them consume (tails are kinda cool). Any thoughts?
My stove is not EPA rated. Plus, I am burning 2-month old, split pine. Should I call the Fire-Marshall? Smells like a funky BB-Q inside, right now.branchburner said:Creosote, yes. Wet rodents should never be burned in an EPA stove. Mice should be seasoned one year, rats two years.

CJRages said:Hey, while we are on the mice topic...
What's the best way to keep them critters outta the house?
Beetle-Kill said:Sorry Northwinds, I didn't log a burn time. Next time, and there will be a next time...oh yes..BWAHAHAHAHA! ( as an aside- while in the midst of the coal bed, the tails went RED-HOT, and positively re-animated! I know- ghoulish)
