i have a gas log propane fireplace and have purchased another for rec room. Do I run another line split after the regulator at the tank for 2nd line or do I need to install a second regulator brfote the regulator seperate to the new gas logs?

Most likely the regulator can handle that load easily, the question is more about line size and distance. I would highly suggest a licensed tech install the line so it gets sized correctly.
