Do the fake logs reduce efficiency? Harman Advance...what about the fake brick between the fire and the heat exchanger covers?

I don't see how, except for possibly a tiny amount of radiance from the glass. Ran them for quite a while in my Austroflamm,because I thought they were required,lol(many years ago), took the ash collectors out after I found out better,and never put them back in. Stove is in basement anyway,nobody there for a "view". BTY the Accentra and your harman have the same type of combustion air flow inside.
