Been looking for a new pellet insert, and though I'm pretty set on a Harman P35i, I figured there was no harm checking out the Quadrafire products also.

It's a remarkable coincidence that the design of the two sites are nearly identical, from the layout of the information to the coupon pop-up. That typically suggests a centrally managed marketing department, thus it leads me to suspect that the two companies are owned by the same parent.

So, what gives, and if Harman is owned by Quadrafire, or some other managing group, can we expect any departure from their traditional quality control?

OMG, it's the Borg.

So, there's really no fundamental difference in build quality any more, is there? It's just a matter of what style and features you want. If you're a tech buyer and like a remote, you go with a Quad; if you're a convenience buyer and want to clean less often, you go with a Harman. Does that about sum it up?

I honestly can't speak of the quality of any of their stoves since I don't or have never owned any of their stoves.
