I live in New Hampshire, and for the last 3 years I have had the same person delivery 4 cords of split firewood to my house for $150.00 per a cord. Usually, I can scavange about 1 cord myself here and there myself. This year, the "wood delivery guy" raised his price by 20% or $180 per a cord, the reason he gave me was because of the cost of diesel fuel is now $4.00 per a gallon.
So my question is, does $180.00 per a cord sound reasonable for where I live or should I search other sources, namley other vendors?
Regards
