Dollar bill test?

When you close the door with the dollar bill in there, should you be able to pull the bill out or should it be pretty snug?
 
I was told by my installers, folded lengthwise, it should have some tension but not too tight that it would rip (too tight will warp your latch)

Try the dollar test all the way around the door. If it's loose, time to replace the gasket.

Are you checking it because you are having trouble with your fires?
 
If it's loose,,,,, first see if your stove manual indicates that you can adjust your door handle to tighten up the gasket.. My Quad 5700 could be adjusted.
