Dose anyone use pine lighter anymore?

As the title asks Does anyone use pine lighter to start fires? Ive read alot of post and havent once seen it mentioned. (Also known as pine knots, rich pine or fat pine.)
 
Some do, but super cedars seem to be the starter of choice. Understandably so. They will get almost anything burning.
 
Yep, we save and use the little shavings from the pine, cedar, doug fir, oak we chop split stack

and we buy fat wood just cuz the Mr. happens to like it. and so do I.
