Saw these at Lowes, any body ever try Golden Fire??

They should be good. I burn 100% softwood premium pellets made in Nova Scotia.

If you look at the company website they have many brands like Green Supreme.

They even have premium ultra which must be the Mercedes of pellets.

Which Lowe’s is that? I saw a disclaimer that the product may vary by store.
I checked our Lowe’s in Salem NH
$9.28 per bag is $464.00 per ton!
Second pic at bottom states price ranges from $250 to $480 per ton.

The Lowe's in Concord has the Golden Fire for $9.28/bag but doesn't show a ton price/ I assume the pic beside it for $6.99 is GS (whcih are cheaper at HD)

I have burned GoldenFire pellets for several years. They burn well but the last couple years have had some bags with a lot of fines.
They are currently running $7.99 before any discounts here at Coastal Farm and Ranch stores.
I usually buy in the summer when on sale for about $300/ton.

these are what we get here in Pa from my dealer....Northern warmth doug firs. also Minute Man Firs.

Bought a ton of Cascade Doug Fir pellets today, they were on sale for $299/ton at Coastal Farm & Ranch in Oregon.
They also give you a $50 gift card, So $249/ton since I will save the gift card for the next pellet purchase.
Decided to try Cascade since they were cheaper than the Golden Fire and had better reviews.
They also had Golden Fire on sale for $339/ton with a $50 gift card.

That looks good to me. I pay $7.76 +15% tax -10% rebate for good pellets. My Home Depot is showing no stock on Eastern Embers. I'm down to 8 bags, but I know Home Hardware have some and will price match (not exactly, but close). It's been a cold winter. We went up to 5C today but the snow it still here. Still burning.

We're almost done burning except when the temps get in the 30F's here overnight. Daytime it gets into the 50's now.
Will probably end up using the pellets next winter.
Started with 2 tons and have .8 ton left so, pretty mild winter for us. Usually we burn 1.5 ton/winter.
