I've had draft problems for a while. increase chimney length, opened window, installed 45's instead of 90's none worked really. Installed this inducer and wala, no dirty glass, no smoke when door is opened. only wondering one thing, when i open the door the inducer speed increases quite a bit, makes me wonder if the stove inlet is partially plugged, and it was never a draft issue cant see anything in there, any ideas or would this be considered normal due to the size of the door compared to the 3" inlet? It's a new englander nc-30.

It's essentially a fan at the top of the chimney that sucks the exhaust out.

I'm kind of curious. What type of inducer do you have?
