DuraTech Pipe Question?

As some of you may already know, I'm in the process of installing a 13-NC Englander.

I've decided to go with the DuraTech Galvanized Pipe, but concerned with how it will look on the Inside (going with a Through-the-Wall Kit).

How will the Galvanized look appearance wise?

Also considering using the Stainless Steel on the Inside only, for a better look.

Or possibly using the Galvanized and Painting it Black on the Inside, also for a better look (as another alternative suggested by the supplier that I called). This would also match the color of the Stove.

Looking for some suggestions. Any direction to links showing pictures would be also be appreciated.

Hi Bill.
If you install the system correctly, you're not gonna see the galvanized section inside your home. That will terminate just inside the wall where there will be an adapter for your connector pipe, & a trim collar. All you're gonna see is Black stuff.

The 6" class A only has to stick in the room 6", I would just paint that part.

In the meantime, I realized that I can just buy Black Pipe for the Inside.

Now my Wall is combustible. Will the 6 Inches into the room be good enough for a Combustible Wall to be within code?

At minimum, you'll have to install an elbow & that will bring you another 6" or so into the room. You're going to have to use Double Wall connector to be safe. What are the specified clearance for the rear of your stove? Is
it more than 6"? That's your guide...

It is going in the corner and I am using Side Heat Shields. From the corners of the stove to the combustible wall will be 13 Inches.

By the "6 Inches" I was referring to how much the Double Wall Pipe from the wall out has to be on the inside of the house. But in the meantime, I may be switching to Triple Wall. I was told Triple Wall only needs to be out 2 Inches from the wall. Would like to verify if that is correct.
