Got a Dutchwest 2478 non cat few weeks back. Read all the other post on this stove but nothing relates to my problem. I can get my stove going ok but the temperature is uncontrollable. It stays up around 800 degrees and I can't lower it. I've got a straight pipe up thru the roof ( about 12-14ft ) the damper closed and the air is off. I've got double walled stove pipe with a probe thermometer installed. How can I lower the temp? Do I have to much draft?
