Hi. Any tips for getting the inner pipe of my telescoping DVL pipe to fit into the collar on my Englander 17-VL. It is a very tight fit. I have thought of grinding a slight taper into the collar or cutting some short relief cuts into the DVL liner but wanted to ask before making any mods. Thanks

Do you have a DVL stove top adapter? Not sure if you have to have one but mine does.

Sometimes it fits best without the adapter, but not always. In this instance, you will need the adapter. It's inner wall is tapered and crimped.

I had the same stove and pipe. You'll need the stove adapter for whatever brand you used. In my case it was dura vent dvl
